StyleDesk (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a salon management application designed to help salon owners and staff manage appointments, customers, services, inventory, and stylists. Your privacy is important to us.

StyleDesk stores the following information locally on your device:

• Customer details (name, contact information, notes, visit history)
• Appointment details (date, service, stylist, status)
• Services, pricing, and durations
• Stylist profiles and availability
• Inventory and product usage records
• Internal notes, tags, and preferences

1.2 Google Drive Backup (Optional)

StyleDesk offers an optional backup and restore feature using Google Drive.

• Backup files are exported in JSON format
• Data is stored only in the user’s own Google Drive account
• StyleDesk does not access, view, or share Google Drive data
• Users may enable or disable backups at any time

1.3 Automatically Collected Information

StyleDesk does not collect:

• Location data
• Advertising identifiers
• Analytics or usage tracking data
• Device identifiers
• Crash data sent to external servers

2. How We Use Information

The data you enter is used only to operate core app features such as scheduling, customer management, inventory tracking, and backups. We do not sell or share user data with third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored locally on your device using secure SQLite storage. Optional Google Drive backups rely on Google’s security infrastructure. Users are responsible for securing their devices and Google accounts.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

• Data remains on the device until deleted by the user
• Uninstalling the app removes all local data
• Google Drive backups can be deleted at any time

5. Children’s Privacy

StyleDesk is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the app or app store listing.
